Position Overview

Busy Biz Solutions SAC is seeking Independent Cruise Quoters to provide cruise quote preparation and related support services for Cruiser Travels, a U.S.-based travel agency.

This is a remote, production-based independent contractor opportunity designed for individuals who are detail-oriented, efficient, comfortable working with computers, and motivated by measurable results.

Independent Cruise Quoters retrieve cruise pricing, identify applicable promotions and perks, and prepare accurate and competitive quotes using cruise line and travel vendor systems. Contractors work independently while following established quoting guidelines, accuracy requirements, and quality standards.

This is not a salaried employee position. Compensation is based on qualifying quote production, bookings generated from quotes, and applicable performance incentives.

Key Responsibilities

· Retrieve pricing from partner cruise lines and travel vendors

· Apply current promotions, perks, and special offers

· Deliver accurate quotes through the internal request system

· Support both sales and marketing initiatives by ensuring high-quality quote content

· Assist with basic data entry tasks tied to marketing and lead-generation workflows

· Communicate with sales agents when clarification is needed

· Maintain organized documentation and quote logs

· Ensure all quotes meet company accuracy and turnaround standards

Required Qualifications

Candidates must have intermediate to advanced English proficiency, including both written and verbal communication.

This Independent Contractor Position is for you if:

Strong quoters will typically

• Type at least 35 words per minute.
• Be highly detail-oriented.
• Have their own equipment and fast internet
• Learn new systems and procedures quickly.
• Enjoy working with numbers, pricing, and online systems.
• Be comfortable performing high-volume computer-based work.
• Be competitive and motivated by production goals.
• Take personal responsibility for the accuracy of their work.
• Be comfortable working toward clearly defined performance targets.
• Stay focused and productive without constant supervision.
• Be willing to ask questions when clarification is necessary rather than making assumptions.
• Respond positively to coaching and performance feedback.
• Look for ways to become faster and more efficient while maintaining accuracy.

Compensation 

Compensation is based solely on productivity. This is not a salaried position.

S/. 0 to S/. 2700+

Compensation is composed by:

· S/0.50 per completed and accurate quote

· Only quotes meeting the required accuracy and quality standards qualify for compensation.

· S/10.00 for each qualifying new CruiseCompete-generated booking resulting directly from their quote.

· This applies to the original qualifying CruiseCompete booking only. Subsequent bookings, repeat bookings, referrals, transferred bookings, or unrelated future bookings do not qualify.

· 5% of the Net Commission generated by qualifying bookings resulting from their quotes.

· Net Commission is calculated after applicable costs associated with securing the booking, including discounts, onboard credits, rebates, CruiseCompete fees, promotional concessions, and customer incentives.

Example:

Gross Commission: $200
CruiseCompete Fee: -$25
Onboard Credit: -$75
Net Commission: $100

Independent Quoter receives 5% = $5
