The Sales Manager is a leisure and cruises travel salesperson who has demonstrated through performance a thorough understanding and competence in sales, account management functions and accountability skills.
A Sales Manager ensures the company's sales strategy is executed, meeting or exceeding sales goals through leading the Sales team, guaranteeing knowledge of the products we offer, as well as training staff in the best sales closing strategies.
This person would be a top performer themselves, follows all the proper processes, champions the company’s ethics, procedures and processes and helps to motivate and inspire the sales team to do the same for continued improvements.
Duties also include preparing and presenting effective proposals, presentations, maintaining well organized documentation and reports that will help reach our sales goal.
Eventual Sales Director and VP of Sales.
What will you do
- Monitor company software to make sure staff follows schedule policies.
- Lead Monday morning meetings and highlighting the top performers, as well as a sales meeting once a month to start off the new month.
- Ongoing training (insurance, follow up, selling strategies, product knowledge etc.).
- Keep track of the agent of the month and announce winners in the sales meeting as well as bonus winners each week and report to Administration.
- Manage all sales agents and new hire training.
- Make sure the agents are working leads correctly (Lead Quality Assurance)
- Monitor sales calls to make sure the agents are reaching sales standards. (Sales Quality Assurance)
- Approve offers for new agents
- Coach and help all agents when needed.
- Be the best example of what a top performer is for every sales agent.
- Monitor our profitability and sales per cruise line.
- Stay updated on Current Promotions Regularly review all available promotions.
- Come up with plans to help increase sales performance, customer service, client and agent retention as well as company and sales morale.

Qualifications
- 100% Fluent in English, both verbal and written
- Has worked with US customers before
- Proven sales experience with a passion for exceeding targets in leadership positions for at least 2 years
- Financial and business acumen
- Experience in sales, preferably in the travel industry
- Has a passport and US VISA (only for free trips).
- The applicant must live in Lima-Peru and be in a reasonable distance of Miraflores District.
Benefits you will enjoy
- Salary: From S/.5,000.- S/12,000+ Soles per month
- Plus 1.5% of supervised agents net commission (approximately double the base salary and upwards of 3 times the base salary)
- Salary is a combination of base salary, commissions, bonuses/ overrides.
