Travel Agent Sales Role

Job Description

A fast-growing U.S. travel company, partnered with Busy Biz Solutions SAC here in Lima, is seeking 1–2 full-time Travel Sales Professionals to join its high-performance team immediately. Our partner, Cruiser Travels, is experiencing record-breaking growth and cannot keep up with the volume of inbound customer requests.


Cruiser Travels’ CEO brings 20+ years of experience in the travel industry and has a proven history of developing new agents into highly successful, top-earning professionals. This is an exceptional opportunity for motivated individuals looking for a long-term career in the U.S. travel market.


Role Overview

As a Travel Agent Sales Professional, you will handle warm, inbound leads—no cold calling. You will communicate with clients via phone and email, gather pricing, secure commissions and exclusive perks from travel partners (primarily cruise lines), and provide clear, compelling offers to clients using a proven and highly successful sales process.


Your responsibilities include:

  • Responding quickly to inbound U.S. customer inquiries
  • Preparing accurate cruise/travel quotes using vendor systems
  • Highlighting perks, promotions, and commissionable components
  • Closing sales and securing bookings
  • Following up with clients to maximize conversion
  • Providing ongoing customer service and repeat-sales support
  • Maintaining detailed records in our CRM


Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)

  • Fluent English — both spoken and written (100% required)
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Ambitious and financially motivated
  • Highly coachable and eager to learn
  • Above-average intelligence and problem-solving ability
  • Proficiency with computers and online systems
  • Quiet, distraction-free home workspace
  • High-speed internet (minimum 40 Mbps down / 5 Mbps up)
  • Ability to work hard-wired to the modem or willing to set this up
  • Team-oriented attitude


Preferred Qualifications (Ideal Candidate)

  • Ability to type 35+ WPM
  • Proven sales experience (especially top-producer performance)
  • Previous work with U.S. clients
  • Has lived or traveled in the United States
  • Competitive, driven personality
  • Possesses a passport and U.S. visa (for occasional free incentive trips)


Compensation & Schedule

  • Full-time position (Monday–Friday; Saturday availability may occasionally be required)
  • Base salary + commissions + incentives + bonuses
  • Expected total compensation: S/3,000 – S/10,000+ per month
  • Opportunities for free cruises and travel reward contests
